The Creativity Project is concluded - at least for now.

It started with a question: What is creativity and why it is so important? Creativity is part of our nature, and it is a big part of what makes us humans. It gives us the ability to connect ideas, to solve problems, to find answers, to put out in the world our unique mark. Creativity is the way our mind works. When we start seeing how being creative is part of our nature, instead of being something we have to “learn”, we can fully embrace it and use it.

This idea became an artistic experiment to explore how to cultivate creativity through different tools and mediums. From a studio in Amsterdam, a small collective of artists set up to create together and inspire each others. This experiment run for three intense years that reshaped my own creative approach to my art and my design work.

Some aspects of The Creativity Project evolved in the new adventure I started in 2017 as my friend Lana Jelenjev and I co-founded Co.LAB: a resource platform and community for creative entrepreneurs.

Those new ideas are now infused in my work as a designer, and in Co.LAB.
  • “There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”

Martha Graham - dancer and choreographer
  • "Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning."

Gloria Steinem - feminist, journalist, activist
  • "I believe that the most important single thing, beyond discipline and creativity is daring to dare."

Maya Angelou - poet, memoirist, civil rights activist

I am a restless creator and multi-passionate entrepreneur, and I move easily between painting, developing my embroidery and textile skills, designing stunning books and giving shape to impactful brands.

After more than 20 years as a freelance and entrepreneur, I learnt the hard way how to use all the tools my mind can offer to produce ideas on demand and also cultivate my passions.
I love exploring the power of imagination, how to own the creative process, how to make ideas real and share them with the world.

What I discovered during the years I researched the creative process is now part of my work at Co.LAB, a resource platform and community for creative entrepreneurs that I co-founded with my friend and fellow creative soul Lana Jelenjev.

If you want to be bored with the details, I can tell you I am a mom to two amazing children, wife to a very talented filmmaker/furniture-upcycler, and I am addicted to coffee, art and rock music.
